Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2025 – Installation

Clean, compliant steps for Windows

Before you begin

Tip: If you cannot install it properly, please temporarily disable your antivirus software.

Step 1: Install Acrobat

1 Run the installer

Run the file "setup.exe", uncheck: "Install Adobe Genuine Service (AGS)" if necessary, select the desired settings.

2 Wait for the installation to complete, DO NOT RUN the program, click "Finish".

3 Finish the wizard

Run the update file "AcrobatDCUpd2500120643.msp" click "Update". When the installation is complete, click "Finish", DO NOT RUN the program!

Step 2: Replacing files:

4 Run the file "FilesReplaceX86.exe" from the "Registration" folder, get the message: "The files have been replaced." - OK, Check for updates
Note: this file will replace the files: Acrobat.dll, acrodistdll.dll, acrotray.exe with the registered ones..

Step 3: Blocking hosts:

5 Run the file "BlockHosts.exe" from the "Registration" folder, this file will add the necessary entries to the hosts file. Do not run "BlockHosts.exe" if you have already applied hosts blocking for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Remove hosts blocking - remove the lines "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC" in the hosts file, access hosts - shortcut .etc. Sign in Set PDF default app
6 Firewall blocking:

Run the BlockFirewall.exe file from the "Registration" folder, this file will block access to the network for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC exe-files. Get the message: "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Firewall is blocked.".

Step 3: Unblock Firewall:

7 Run the UnblockFirewall.exe file from the "Registration" folder, this file will unblock access to the network for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC exe-files. Get the message: "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Firewall Unblocked.". Set PDF default app
Block the Firewall only if necessary. The program is ready to use.
